London • Day 14-16

After an eventful time in Paris, we left our ever-faithful bus driver Tanya behind, and boarded the ferry to cross the English Channel. Once ashore, we headed to Canterbury (maybe you've heard of it), where we stopped briefly before heading into London.

Pictured here is the building that our tour guide claimed was the MI 6 building. "The MI 6," he claimed, "is the organization that James Bond would work for, if he wasn't a fictitious character." However, he said that if you ever asked any government official if this were true, they would deny it. I'm uncertain if this is true, but you can decide for yourself.

Also, while in London, we saw the more traditional scenes: Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, the London Bridge, the Tower of London, and the changing of the guards outside of Buckingham Palace. I must also note that we visited the Hard Rock Cafe here as well, but this was more interesting because this was the Original Hard Rock Cafe.

Well, this brought us to the end of our tour. From here, we jumped on a plane and headed straight back to Dallas. We were well worn from our grueling tour schedule, but altogether, we had a great time. Hopefully, someday I will get to go back and visit each country individually, so that I can take in more of the wonderful things that they each have to offer. Until then, I'll just have to enjoy the few memories that I still have left of this past trip.
